Vogue Talents in collaboration with International Business Consortium Nigeria limited organisers of Africa's biggest model search and owners of Ecowas Fashion week and Africa International fashion week in partnership with Studio 24 launches 'Scouting for Africa', sponsored by Access Bank together with Baileys.  This is a new international scouting project aimed at emerging women swear, menswear, accessories designers of African nationality (they have to be born in one the African continent countries, even if they are currently based elsewhere) or at designers of any nationality but based in Africa.   The profiles of the best designers will appear in Vogue Italia in 2015. One of the selected designers, besides, will have the opportunity of presenting their garments and accessories within the marvelous setting of Palazzo Morando, in Milan, a showcase of international scouting, in September 2015. During this special event, the chosen designers will be able to show their collections to journalists, buyers and designers.  The designers who will be picked will feature at Africa International fashion week coming up on the 2nd to the 5th of November 2015 with an award night by Baileys targeting women who have made their mark in in the African fashion industry. A bomb went off this morning November 10th during Assembly at the Senior Science Secondary School Potiskum, Yobe state. The bomber is believed to be a student who was on the assembly ground with other students. Many students feared dead while several others injured. Details later...

In an article titled 'Of Flavour's flaunt, Yachting holidays and Range Rovers", which he posted on his blog yesterday, Nollywood producer and director called Chika's Ike manager, Serah Donald, obtuse, meaning dull, not sharp!. Before you hate why not at least do a proper research. First you called a yacht, a cruise boat. I laughed at first but I understand that you have not experienced the luxury of being in a Yacht to know the difference between a boat and a yacht. You  called Jumeirah  beach hotel a 3 star hotel? my guy I forgive your ignorance ,how will you know the difference when you have  not even been in a two star hotel how much more a five star hotel. I remember clearly that you met me in California when you came for Nollywood convention. And I was  in a film school one you won't even be able to afford even if you worked for years but then again I forgive your ignorance as I deeply feel your pains. Dealing with a dead career is not really an easy one. But one advice focus on resurrecting your career and going back to being a movie director rather than living your life hating on celebrities who has made it. It's obvious your beef doesn't pay your bills and you will die a wretched sad old man who  will be remembered for hating on celebrities. Like the famous saying goes.  Have you ever seen a statue erected  In honor of a critic ?NO! Chika Ike is one of the biggest Nigerian celebrities we have, a U.N ambassador, bullet energy drink ambassador. Refugee ambassador for displaced person just to mention a few. An extremely hardworking one as such and very charitable ,i am sure you are aware of how many lives she has changed with her Chika Ike foundation. Chika Ike is  blessed and no man can take that away. She is 28 and successful and she's sure going to live her life to the fullest so feel free to feed your eyes with more instagram pictures if it pains you then go work harder and be celebrated. Many were killed today November 3rd after a suicide bomber detonated a bomb targeted at members of the Shiite group, the Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria, who were on procession at Faydia Islamic School located near the old market in Pokiskum, Yobe state. Reports say the Muslim faithfuls were celebrating Ashura day, which is the new month of the Islamic Calendar, when the bomb went off. The bomber was among the worshipers when the bomb went off. Security operatives have since condoned off the scene of the incident. Details later...
